The Archdiocese of Mobile’s Generations of Faith – Endowing Our Future with Hope Campaign, initiated in 2019, will fund perpetual endowments for, among other purposes, activities that initiate and enhance youth ministry programs for middle and high school students throughout the Archdiocese of Mobile. As soon as funds are collected and available, pastors, youth ministers, counselors, teachers, volunteers, etc. will be able to apply for grants to best serve their various youth ministry programs.

How will funds from the Youth Ministry Endowment be distributed?

• Applications will be invited from any Catholic parish, school or community group in the Archdiocese of Mobile to initiate or enhance their middle or high school youth ministry programs. Applications will be made online through this website and will require the approval and signature of a pastor.

• Grants distributed from the fund will be directed by The Board of Trustees of the Youth Ministry Charitable Trust. This 7-member board is made up of 3 individuals appointed by the Presbyteral Council, 3 individuals appointed by the Archdiocese Finance Council, and 1 individual appointed by the Archbishop.

• As of January 2021, grants will be capped at $2,500 and will be dependent on availability of funds.
